In 2024, wealth managers in Germany pursued a return-oriented yet carefully risk-aware portfolio strategy. The allocation shows a clear direction: short durations in the fixed-income segment, a strong focus on U.S. equities, and lower cash quotas. These are just some of the insights from the new "Trendmonitor Vermögensverwaltung" 2025, created by the "Institut für Vermögensaufbau (IVA)" in cooperation with the Munich WealthTech QPLIX GmbH. The analysis is based on more than 61.000 real client portfolios from 118 independent wealth managers, making it the most extensive one in Germany. The TMVV is a spin-off of the CAPITAL magazine studies "Top Asset Managers".
