In the last quarter, QPLIX made further steps towards becoming an international provider and implemented global wealth management trends in product development.
QPLIX in the global banking communication system
QPLIX was included in the SWIFT network and received its own BIC. Thus, users receive data on transactions and positions via a direct line to the respective bank – saving time, effort, and costs. In addition to numerous software interfaces (APIs) that QPLIX already maintains with custodian, and commercial banks as well as stock exchanges and information services, this is another building block in the digital information architecture that pursues the goal of a fully automated data flow. As data from the time before digitization must also be transferred into the QPLIX system, it is good to know that the import of Excel data is now even easier.
Do you speak English?
In the 2nd quarter, we again had the pleasure of welcoming several new customers from outside the German-speaking world. At the same time, the internationalization in the product is progressing rapidly. QPLIX is getting closer to the goal of offering all functions for wealth managers in German and English. The reports and the portal for clients can be offered in any language and the report language can be defined individually.
Now it’s getting personal
Speaking of “individual”: Name, classification, and additional characteristics of securities can now be described separately for each individual client. Just another example of how QPLIX uses technology to simplify personal services. Let’s play buzzword bingo: Hyper-personalization as part of hybrid service models, in which digital technology enhances the client experience in wealth management, has been proclaimed as one of the major global wealth management trends by Capgemini, among others. And that’s exactly what QPLIX does on many levels. So our customers once again lead the way.
Think green
Another global megatrend is sustainable investing. For this, investors and fund managers must be able to evaluate securities according to ecological, social, and governance criteria. That is why QPLIX now offers access to ESG data from Moody’s subsidiary V.E. or, on request, from other ESG scoring providers. This allows users to overview the performance of a sustainable portfolio, for example, and compare it with the performance of conventional investments. In the QPLIX portal, corresponding dashboards are available for clients and sustainability reports can be generated at the push of a button.
And what was going on at QPLIX?
During these special times, we have all experienced how valuable a good digital infrastructure and technology-supported processes are. The daily work routine has changed, and we want to keep the positive. Q2/2021 will hopefully have been the last quarter where we had to work mostly in the home office. Fortunately, however, we now have the technology and well-rehearsed processes in place, so that more working-at-home is possible for all those who want it. A useful side effect is that we can grow faster and are well prepared to collaborate across national borders. We have expanded to over 70 employees and are still looking for finance and technology experts to grow internationally.
